How can a company that created wii fit, wii music and mario basketball be respectable?

I would like to take this opportunity to stick up for Nintendo, joke topic or not.
I think what they've done is wonderful. They've brought gaming to a mass market.
Mass market means more money.
More money means more games.
Yes, the money must be shared with the "casual" games (and the blatantly Ship ones) but it still results in an overall good turnout.

Well, the Wii has kind of failed a lot so far. I rarely find a game for it I'm actually interested in. I spent ages in a shop looking for a good game with my brother and we couldn't find a single one either of us actually wanted.

Mario Slam Basketball is an awesome game.
It is also fiendishly hard towards the end, like strikers. But unlike in strikers there aren't exploits you can use to actually beat the game.
